Your first visit to Family Dentistry of West Salem involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you. To understand what to expect, please read through this page. What To Expect
When you visit Family Dentistry of West Salem, you can expect to be greeted by our friendly staff and provided the best possible care. If you're visiting our office for the first time, in order to ensure the best possible care, we will ask that you complete the following forms: patient consent, financial policy, authorization for release of medical information and we will provide notice of our privacy practices. This paperwork can be completed prior to your first appointment to help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling about your appointment. 

Are you experiencing any symptoms prior to your appointment? Review the content under patient education and services. 

If you are new patient scheduled for a hygiene appointment, our hygienist will call you back to privately discuss your medical history prior to cleaning your teeth. If you have any medical conditions or concerns this is the time to bring them up. Our staff is here to help. They may also be required to collect further information about your dental history by taking x-rays. At some point during your exam, one of our highly qualified doctors will come in to perform a dental exam. They will also review your x-rays. This is another time to bring up any questions that you may have about your dental care or health.
